Superintendent Blackmer and an interview committee has selected Holly Bruning as the new Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction effective July 1, 2025. Holly comes to us from Lawrence Public Schools where she has served as the MS/HS Principal for the past two years. Holly also has been a high school teacher for Kalamazoo Public Schools for ten years. She holds a bachelors, masters, and a specialist in educational leadership certification from Western Michigan University. Welcome Holly!
As staff checked the school grounds this morning, it was discovered that Redwood Elementary has no power. Due to this power outage, Hartford Public Schools will be closed today, Friday May 16. Graduation is still planned for tonight at 6pm, as the High School still has power.

The high school library will be open to the public from 3:00-4:00 pm starting today until Wednesday (5/7) for anyone in the community that would like to take any of the books that are left.
The shelves on the wall need to go as well. You will need to bring your own tools to remove them.
