The Hartford Foundation for Quality Education Holiday Baazar is this Saturday, November 9th, from 9am-3pm in the Middle School gym. We hope to see you all there!
There will be Ski Club meeting/sign-up after school on Thursday, November 7th, in the Hartford High School library. Open to all grade levels! Also, open to non-school age family members (college, parents, etc).
Pay $40 one time, then it's $40 each time to ski! More information will be available at Thursday's meeting!

3D printed animals and eggs, made by Mrs. Olds and her PLTW classes, will be available for sale at the upcoming Holiday Bazaar on November 9th! Each egg will have a surprise animal inside, so make sure to stop by Mrs. Olds' table to buy an egg and see which animal you're going to get! 🐣

Fall Fest is a day designed to get our student body out of the building and into the community to complete service projects that will help those in need as well as beautify our city. Students will be completing projects with local businesses and churches, as well as cleaning up litter and debris around the city. We will also be raking leaves for community members that are unable to. Leaves will be raked to the roadside and picked up by the city.

Hartford Public Schools SRO, Deputy Nate Penning completed a four day training on Crisis Intervention Team training. Instructor Sgt. Fidel Mireles had the honor of presenting his certificate.
The course covered de-escalation skills that pertain with citizen in a mental health crisis, community resources for mental health, veteran affairs and completing petitions for a mental health evaluations. The last day was full of life like scenarios with role players.
El diputado Nate Penning, SRO de las Escuelas Públicas de Hartford, completó una capacitación de cuatro días sobre la capacitación del Equipo de Intervención en Crisis. El sargento instructor. Fidel Mireles tuvo el honor de entregar su certificado.
El curso cubrió habilidades para reducir las tensiones relacionadas con ciudadanos en una crisis de salud mental, recursos comunitarios para la salud mental, asuntos de veteranos y cómo completar peticiones para evaluaciones de salud mental. El último día estuvo lleno de escenarios realistas con jugadores de rol.
